Professional Anika

I have 16+ years of experience in UX design, product design, user research, strategy, visual design, and branding.

I’m passionate about helping those that help the world. I love to apply my UX skills to improve digital experiences for education, healthcare, and social impact.

I want to join a cross-functional team where I can help lead by assessing user requirements, directing product strategy, and collaborating with design and development. I also enjoy mentoring teammates.

Personal Anika

I love learning and talking about UX for fun. I’ve spoken and had leadership roles with groups including UX in AZ, PHXUX, Ladies that UX, AIGA Arizona, and Phoenix Design Week.

In my free time I like to read, eat ice cream, and spoil my dogs. I am part of a cooking club and a crafting club (I am not particularly good at either).

Nice things my teammates have said:

“Effortlessly stepping into a leadership role, Anika contributed to our roadmap and user experience. Her leadership skills, paired with a genuine passion for user experience, made our collaboration both successful and truly enjoyable.”

Cameron Sheya

Sr. Product Manager, GRIN (co-lead)

“I woke up this morning thinking of how much integrity, heart, and effort you have put into our clients and company. Thank you.”

Danny Robles

Director of Ideation & Design, Neudesic (manager)

“Anika is not only a gifted designer but also a natural leader who demonstrates exceptional teamwork and leadership.”

Ryan Debenham

CTO, GRIN (grandboss)

“What impressed me more than her visual design skills, which speak volumes on their own, is how Anika quickly integrated herself within the team, earned everyone’s trust and respect, and challenged every single member of the team to grow.”

Alex Bussa

UX Design Manager, Pearson (manager)

“Anika collaborates exceptionally well by listening attentively and contributing ideas that are on point. She is open to feedback and asks insightful questions.”

A note from Gaige and Rory

Hi! We think you’d like to work with our human, Anika. She’s pretty great.

She likes color palettes, typography, helping end users, learning, walks, bacon, and peanut butter (those last few might be us).

If your company doesn’t already have a #pets slack channel, we will start one for you.
